Brittany and Scott: Pi Day Wedding

What a way to Nerd out Brittany and Scott! I wasn't sure what to expect in our early conversations about your Pi Day, Comic-Con infused wedding. But when the day arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with custom details that added to the unique vibe of your wedding day. The custom made comic book rose bouquets must have taken longer to make than that pretty rock on your ring finger. I just loved the custom bow ties featuring colorful characters from their favorite Comics. Their ceremony was held at Pala Casino Spa Resort in the outside gazebo. The light was harsh and spotty, but I was still about to get some of my favorite images with a teeny tap on the officiant's shoulder during Scott's vows to Brittany. Speaking of the officiant...David Cutler did a wonderful job of customizing the Ceremony to be exactly what Brittany and Scott were looking for: a uniting of two kindred souls, both lighthearted and everlasting.

When it was time to move to the reception, their guests were welcomed to the Infinity! Club at Pala. This was the same night that Ringo Starr preformed at the Casino, and I don't think I was the only one who was expecting a cameo! Still, there was a great energy in the air, thanks to DJ Darren Meyer who kept the party hoppin' and the lovebirds lovin' with the perfect mix of old and new. Don't forget to check out that one of a kind wedding cake by Laura Westhoven, who I am sure enjoyed the creative process,a s much as I love capturing the finished piece.

At the stroke of 9:26:53 on 3.14.15 it was time for their Once in a Lifetime moment, right on time for the Comic-Con themed Pi Day wedding of Brittany and Scott.

The one thing I try to convey to my couples is the importance of making your wedding unique. Great job Brittany and Scott, and congratulations again. Thank you for trusting me with the memories of your wedding day, and cheers to married life!
