When it comes to same sex weddings that are sincerely simple and elegant thisSan Diego Wedding at Tower 23 in Pacific Beach literally took the cake!
From the toasts, to the smiles and laughter among the guests this was one sincerely fun wedding! The happy couple both wore gorgeous grey suits that popped against the beachfront backdrop.
I was able to use the clouds to take some epic photos using off camera flash.
There’s nothing like the love of two people being accented by golden rays of the sun peaking through rain clouds on the beach.
Pure romance filled the air in Tower 23 as the Paul and Tim said “I do” with panoramic views overlooking the seascape. An elegant venue, the tables were overlaid withsimple white linens and accented with teal flower vases. Each guest had a name card embossed in silver and the table numbers added a pop of color in teal, as well.
Of course, the mum and peony bouquets took the simplistic elegance to a whole new level and added a bright texture among the white linens and crystal clear stemless wine glasses.
The guests had the time of their lives celebrating the happy couple. This intimate affair truly was one to remember. Not because of the venue or the fact that this wedding really was a fun one to be a part of, but because of the love that was shared that day by every single person in the room -- especially the happy couple!

I couldn’t wait to write about this incredibly fun and beautiful San Diego wedding! Jan and Bobby were not only the most adorable couple, but they brought an energy to their wedding and reception that just can’t be topped. The ceremony took place in the bright and golden Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with pews full of family and friends beaming as they watched. Jan was an exquisite bride in her lacy column dress with a sweetheart neckline, and she carried a soft, romantic bouquet. Bobby rocked his grey suit and deep orange accents with a confident charm and a quiet joy that set him apart from the matching (and very handsome) groomsmen. Jan picked an amazing color for her bridesmaids – the warmth of the deep orange was flattering to everyone!
