It didn't take me long to understand the kind of love Lauren and Christopher have. Just by the way Christopher looks at Lauren, you can see how he admires and respects his beautiful bride. If it weren't for their gigantic hearts, generous smiles and belly-laugh-inducing humor, the pair would be a bit intimidating. The ultimate power couple has formed!
The day was set on the coast of sunny San Diego at the Carlsbad Seapointe Resort, with the reception in the fabulous and fun shaped Clubhouse. Their wedding was trimmed with elegant touches that only the most thoughtful couple would include. Shawls were provided for guests to keep warm for when the sun dipped below the sea. Custom cocktails gave a cheeky insight into the pair: "Egyptian Lover" and "One and Done." Can you guess which is the bride's and which is the groom's?
The day-of coordinating by Bekkers Bridal was fluid and well organized, something that is most appreciated by the photographer's like myself for sure! The dinner and hors d'oeuvres by Bekkers Catering had guests almost licking their plates clean. The wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows provided a beautiful soft ambiance throughout the day and into the evening.
I just loved the light and airy look in the clubhouse at Seapointe, accented by the rich colors and textures of the linens by Allie's Party Rentals. The ample desserts at Lauren and Christopher's wedding were not only Cute, they were scrumptious as well. I just loved the naked cake, a fun and unique touch by Cute Cakes located in Escondido. This is the second wedding I have shot with belly dancing by Bethany Rose from Roses of the Night, a unique and enchanting addition the reception. It was a great way to get the party started.
The getaway car was the perfect touch to end the magical evening, with the mesmerizing and truly vintage Rolls-Royce from Rolls Livery.
Every moment felt cherished and bathed in love. From before the ceremony to walking down the aisle, their first dance to the last goodbye, it was an elegant and thoroughly enjoyed day by all in attendance. It was an honor to be included in the festivities, and I am looking forward to delivering the finished images to the happy couple.
