Well, it was really easy with these two. Fearless and romantic, their love is just beachy!
No one can argue the importance of wedding photos, but engagement photos are equally important for a number of reasons. Engagement photos may very well be your very first professional photos as a couple. For this reason alone, scheduling a photography session is worth the effort. However, there are many other reasons why engaged couples should have photos made before the wedding day. For example, no wedding announcement is complete without a photo of the happy couple. Many couples also like including a photo when sending out wedding invitations. They will serve as a reminder of why a couple decided to get married in the first place, and of those special feelings shared at the beginning of their journey as husband and wife.
Once you've decided to have engagement photos made, it's important to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Planning a wedding is a lot of hard work. As the big day approaches, you'll find yourself busy with last minute details and preparations. It's best to go ahead and get engagement photos out of the way as soon as possible. Also, scheduling a photography session early on in your engagement allows you to really think about what kind of photos you want. Allowing ample time to decide on elements such as location, tone, backgrounds, scenery and outfits is key.
You can have your engagement lifestyle session anywhere your like. Perhaps a park or another outdoor location where you've spent time together, or even the place you met, had your first date or got engaged. This way, you will feel more comfortable in your surroundings, and your personalities will be free to shine through. At Jen Z Photography, we happily do on-location photo sessions. And if you have trouble picking a location, we can help you decide on one that is unique, original and will reflect your own personal tastes and personalities.
